Motorsport career to date:

Started racing dirt bikes when he was nine years old and progressed onto road bikes, finishing third in the Honda Cup in 2006. Then switched to cars in the Ginetta Junior series for 2007 and 2008 and finished sixth in the championship in 2008. Contested the first two Carrera Cup races of 2009.

2010 season:

"I started racing dirt bikes when I was about nine years old and progressed onto road bikes. I finished third in the Honda Cup UK in my last year, but then switched to cars in the Ginetta Junior series as bike racing wasn't really going anywhere. I did two years in Ginettas in 2007 and 2008 and finished sixth in the second year.

"Carrera Cup is a big step up, but we wanted to move into a much bigger series with a more professional team. We want to progress in pro-am2 to start with and try and win that before moving up within Carrera Cup. The ultimate goal is to race in the BTCC.

"It's fantastic to be part of what Motorbase has, with Porsches and touring cars in the same team, and I want to get in on that.

"David Bartrum has been very supportive over the budget problems we hit at the start of 2009. It's horrible being at the race meetings as a spectator but we feel part of it again now and I'm just desperate to get back in the car again.

"I want to challenge for pro-am2 title and go into 2011 confident of being able to compete with the big boys in pro-am1. This is a three-year plan with Motorbase."
