2010 season:
"For a used car salesman from Newmarket with absolutely no money, it’s not been bad. I've been very lucky with sponsors and going to Le Mans with the factory TVR team was just fantastic. I've been very, very lucky.
"Now I'm back at Motorbase, which is a bit of a coming home. It feels very right. I can just concentrate on driving the car and telling the engineer what it's doing, rather than driving and trying to think about why the car is doing what it is doing.
"Without Motorbase, I'd probably not be racing. I don't know if I'd enjoy it as much without the banter with David during the week. Whatever he does, he wears his heart on his sleeve and he will do anything to get you to win a race. He's created an atmosphere where everything is right. The cars are always immaculate. Everything is right.
"Much of last year felt harder work in the car than it should have been. But I really enjoyed the season and it was great to work with Patrick de Groot. I learned a lot with Patrick. Motorbase has got a fantastic line-up and it's great to come and have a laugh with the boys and be involved with the touring cars.
"I want to win it and that's do-able. I've won at nearly every circuit and I just need to string it all together. I'll be working with all five of the guys to get them all up there. We need to go forward as a collective.
