Man Behind the Lens
Peter Still, our man behind the lens, shares a selection of his favourite pics and a few words about the fifth round of the BTCC at Croft.

Just when you thought it was safe… It rained again!
Yes the heavens opened at Croft as it did when the BTCC first visited all those years ago. But this time I managed to get out of the car park without the aid of a four-wheel-drive!
The racing, considering the weather, was very good, again.
Jason Plato and the SEAT team had a bad weekend for results dropping points to the reigning champion Fabrizio Giovanardi.
But I am sure that the SEAT team will put up a fight until the end of the season. After the performance of Adam Jones in the petrol powered Leon, perhaps SEAT should consider replacing their diesel cars with the earlier cars.
Meanwhile Motorbase Performance put in a storming performance to get Rob Collard into a fifth and fourth place finish in the first two races.
The promise of a better result in race three was dashed when after leading for the first couple of laps, Rob was 'persuaded' to move over to let Adam Jones through.
A brilliant weekend for all at Motorbase.
Apart form the rain, the only other downside to the meeting was the accident hat involved the marshals in race one. Love them or hate them, Marshall's do a great job at the circuits. From what I saw of the incident, I don't believe they did anything 'wrong' as some people have made an issue off. In hindsight, they could have stayed behind the barrier until all the cars had passed, but that's not what adrenaline and human instinct tells them.
Been there, done that! Keep up the good work guys…
Now a 6 weeks break for the championship with the promise of new cars joining at or around the Snetterton meeting.. Things are looking good.
Still don't understand why we have to have this break when the Football championship that is being broadcast does not have any 'home teams' in it!
Well, as they say, 'It's only a game!'
