Motorsport career to date:
Raced Ministox from 1996 to 2000, then moved to circuits in Mini Se7ens, winning the title in 2003. Won the BRDC Single-Seater Championship in 2005 and was runner-up in the UK Formula Ford Championship in 2007. Raced in Formula 3 in 2008 and 2009 and made his Porsche debut in the Carrera Cup GB VIP car at Silverstone in 2008; won one race. Moved to the Porsche Supercup in 2010 and finished second. In 2011 he won the Carrera Cup Germany and finished fifth in the Supercup. He also won three times in four races for Motorbase in the Carrera Cup GB.
One of Britain's brightest talents, Tandy is a master behind the wheel of a Porsche. Following a successful single-seater career in which he challenged for the British F3 and Formula Ford titles, Nick's switch to sportscars in recent years has yielded Porsche series victories across Europe.
After finishing second in the 2010 Porsche Carrera Cup Germany and Porsche Supercup, Tandy took the overall German title last season. He also made appearances at the Le Mans and Nurburgring 24 Hour races, before joining the Motorbase fold to take part in four rounds of the 2011 Porsche Carrera Cup GB. On home soil he proved to be the class of the field, clinching four pole positions, four fastest laps and three victories.
