Racing Career:
2010: Finished in 15th place overall in the Porsche Carrera Cup with Motorbase Performance.
2009: Finished in 5th place overall in the VW Cup, with 3 wins and 4 podiums.
2008: Finished in 10th place overall in the VW Cup: Debut season.

Favourite track: Oulton Park is a great mixture of fast flowing bends and technical complexes. The undulation and trees give it a sense of speed and perspective that make it really interesting and exciting to drive, something that can't be said of some of the other circuits.

Most memorable racing moment: "My 1st win at Knockhill, racing in the VW Cup during the 2009 season – it was such an amazing feeling!"

Liam has made the step up to the BTCC this season having spent last year competing in the Porsche Carrera Cup with the Motorbase Performance team. He has successful front wheel drive experience in his past racing career and is looking forward to making the transition back again.

"Before Porsches I raced in the VW Cup and seemed to get on better with a front-wheel-drive car which is what I'm going back to with the Ford Focus ST. The Porsche season was definitely beneficial as I learnt the circuits, got to know the team and what racing on a BTCC weekend is all about.  It's a major step up for me but I'm looking forward to getting out there on track with the big names and seeing how I compare; hopefully I'll surprise a few people this year."
