Motorbase has certainly made its mark at Brands Hatch at the first round, only problem was when Steven hit the pit wall on the main straight after contact with mike Jordan.

OK it was not a great moment for the team but it was not too bad on the damage, and I take heart from the fact that we were doing OK and we had the speed in the car to compete with the front runners.

Rob also had his moment with Mr. jelly and had a trip to the gravel and upon a post incident with Mr. Jelly was told to man up if he could not deal with the loss of the power steering credit to Steven jelly at the next round at Rockingham he had a similar experience with the steering and found out just how hard it is to drive a bmw tourer without power steering and came to tell rob he now knew what he meant, Rob duly told him he may need to man up.

Again at Rockingham we had our moments, I think both drivers are getting to grips with the car and are getting better, Rob was great in the rain and showed that he is a fine racer and understands the touring car racing style, Steven is still learning the ways of the BTCC but is getting better and better.

This weekend we go to Donington and I am looking forward to a good meeting. We have been working hard in the workshop to take the cars and drivers forward so we can do a better job, as I feel as a team we still have not shown what we can do, but I do think we are now ready to start to get the results.

Lets hope Donington is kind to us and we have a good race weekend, and also we will have 2 of our old cars racing with us with btc racing, I think they will do well, we rebuilt the cars over the winter and they left us in good condition and will serve their drivers well.

Chris Stockton is a driver I rate very highly, he was with us in 2005 in British GT and did a fine job in one of our Porsches, he is a quick driver and a very determined guy who will do well in the old war horse Toledo.

Regards,

David
