News 2012: Motorbase voted as best independent BTCC team of 2011

Motorbase Performance are very proud to have been voted as the 'best independent team' of the Dunlop 2011 British Touring Car Championship season by readers of TouringCarTimes.

The online poll, which takes place each year, is very highly regarded amongst racing fans and teams alike and the Wrotham-based team beat off stiff competition from the grid to secure the highly coveted top spot with an impressive 24.5% of the votes.

Team Principal David Bartrum said: "I was genuinely thrilled to hear that we'd been voted as the top independent team in the BTCC for 2011.
