Motorbase Seeks New Partner for 2010 BTCC

Superb live TV coverage, record audiences and the unbeatable buzz of the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship are the key opportunities for a commercial partner joining the Motorbase Performance team in 2010.
In its quest to win races and challenge for the overall BTCC crown, Motorbase in now eager to talk to brands wanting a hugely cost-effective way of taking a significant share of 116 hours of television and 13.8 million viewers; the headline TV statistics from the 2009 BTCC.
The chance to partner with Motorbase follows the announcement from the Wrigley Company Ltd that the Airwaves brand will not be continuing its involvement in 2010; a decision based on the evolving focus of the Wrigley business in the UK.
"The association with Airwaves has been a huge success for both sides of the arrangement," said David Bartrum of Motorbase Performance. "Airwaves was a brilliant partner for our second season in the BTCC and their support helped lift the awareness of the team to a new level. We are also very proud of the job we did for them and I would like to thank everyone involved at Airwaves for being such a first class partner."
Now, the door is open for a new brand to hook up with Motorbase for the 2010 season, when the team's BMWs will again be at the forefront of the BTCC action.
"We've got a great deal to offer to our partners," said Bartrum. "We are very focussed and have a first-class team of people. As well as the BTCC campaign, we will have a major presence in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB."
The team will continue its 2010 driver evaluation process at Brands Hatch on Tuesday (1 December), with current Porsche Carrera Cup champion Tim Bridgman and GT racer Ben Collins driving the BMWs.
