News 2006: Ferrier and Glew to Race for Motorbase

Rising stars Tom Ferrier and Philip Glew will join the Motorbase Performance team for the British GT Championship rounds at Brands Hatch this weekend.
Motorbase will field a third Porsche 996GT3 in the pair of races at the team's home circuit, and hopes to allow Ferrier and Glew the chance to shine. "We want to try and show our true colours in British GT," says team boss David Bartrum.
"They've both had difficult seasons and this is a chance for them to show their pace," adds Bartrum. "It's a chance for us to get to know two talented young drivers and, although it's a one-off at the moment, we're hoping it will lead to other things."
Ferrier and Glew will race a third car for the team that is based in Wrotham, only a couple of miles from Brands. Regular drivers Rod Barrett/Jan Persson and Gary Eastwood/Rob Wilson will field the team's other two cars, with veteran Wilson joining Eastwood for the second time this season.
