How did you become involved in motorsport? – My father was into it so I've been going to races since I was four. At 15 I started working as a gopher for Damon Hill when he was in F3000, then I eventually got into working in motorsport full time.

What do you do at Airwaves BMW? – I'm responsible for the engineering design of Rob Collard's car. Deciding on the setting up of the car prior to the race and making calls on pit stops during it if necessary. Basically it's my job to make the car go faster!

What's your favourite thing about being involved with Airwaves BMW? – The team atmosphere.

What has been your most memorable moment with the team? – Two wins at Brand Hatch this year.

Who is your motorsport idol? – Keke Rosberg. He had balls of steel.

What do you do to relax away from motorsport? – I'm never away from motorsport.

If you were an animal, what would you be? – I've been most likened to a fox, but if I had to choose it would be a polar bear.

Is a Jaffa Cake a cake or a biscuit? – A cake obviously. It's all about the moisture content.
