How did you become involved in motorsport? – I did engineering at university then got a job with Red Bull Racing in Formula One in 2005. After three years there I moved on to do work for a number of top motorsport outfits.

What do you do at Airwaves BMW? – I have responsibility for all the electronics on the cars, and spotting problems before they become issues! I also have to help the engineers by supplying them with information that will help them find the best setup for the cars.

What's your favourite thing about being involved with Airwaves BMW? – I like the family atmosphere and the way Barbara looks after everyone here.

What has been your most memorable moment with the team? – Seeing David Bartrum's face when Rob Collard won the first the team's first BTCC race. He was really living a dream.

Who is your motorsport idol? – Colin Chapman. He did some amazing things in racecar engineering.

What do you do to relax away from motorsport? – I like surfing, playing with road cars and going out on my bike.

If you were an animal, what would you be? – A donkey.

Is a Jaffa Cake a cake or a biscuit? – It's a biscuit because it's in a packet with lots of other ones.
