How did you become involved in motorsport? – Started off working on historic racing cars in the US then came back to the UK and worked in national saloon car racing with Vic Lee running Peugeots. Went on to work in FIA GTs and ALMS then came back to Touring Cars. Ended up becoming Matt Neal's number one engineer at Dynamics when he won the championship.

What do you do at Airwaves BMW? – I have overall responsibility for managing the setup of both of the team's BMWs, but also specifically look after Jonny Adam's car during races.

What's your favourite thing about being involved with Airwaves BMW? – I like everything about it, it's a great job.

What has been your most memorable moment with the team? – Jonny winning race three at Brands Hatch in the first round of the season [2009], even though he was demoted to second afterwards it was a great feeling to see him perform like that.

Who is your motorsport idol? – Grand Prix legend Rudolf Caraciola

What do you do to relax away from motorsport? – I don't, it's everything to me.

If you were an animal, what would you be? – A badger, they're pretty cool.

Is a Jaffa Cake a cake or a biscuit? – It's a soft biscuit!
