How did you become involved in motorsport? – Through motorbikes originally. I was riding them from the age of 12 and ended up getting really into Motocross, but I broke nearly every bone in my body doing that so had to give it up! So instead I did a bit of karting, progressed to rallying then eventually on to circuit racing.

What do you do at Airwaves BMW? – All sorts of things! Anything that David needs a hand with I do, which can be anything from looking after VIPs, holding the pit boards for the drivers or even helping to fix damaged cars. There's never a dull moment that's for sure.

What's your favourite thing about being involved with Airwaves BMW? – Just being involved in the team is so much fun, we work really hard but we always have fun.

What has been your most memorable moment with the team? – Got to be the first win at Brands Hatch this year (2009).

Who is your motorsport idol? – Ari Vatanen, no-one could drive a MkII Escort like him. I was also a big fan of Motocross legend Roger Da Costa.

What do you do to relax away from motorsport? – I ride my motorbike.

If you were an animal, what would you be? – Some sort of big cat, like a lion or something.

Is a Jaffa Cake a cake or a biscuit? – A cake, because it's soft.
