How did you become involved in motorsport? – David and I were involved in the motor industry and were invited along to Brands Hatch as a guest to watch some truck racing. He decided to buy one and after he began racing we were hooked. We've been in motorsport in one form or another for a lot of years now!

What do you do at Airwaves BMW? – Everything! I have many hats but basically look after the whole team. If something outside of the garage needs fixing then I have to sort it out.

What's your favourite thing about being involved with Airwaves BMW? – Seeing the faces of the guys in the team when we win. That makes all the hard work worthwhile.

What has been your most memorable moment with the team? – There has been so many over the years it's hard to pick just one. Out first proper BTCC podium last year (2008) at Snetterton sticks out because David was so happy he cried. It was a big turning point for us and it was very emotional.

Who is your motorsport idol? – I can only say Mr Bartrum.

What do you do to relax away from motorsport? – I don't, it's a continuous job for me! If a get a chance to just sit down, have a coffee and chat to some guests on a Saturday I'm happy enough.

If you were an animal, what would you be? – A turtle. They get to swim about in the nice warm sea all day and they live for ages.

Is a Jaffa Cake a cake or a biscuit? – It's a cake. It's a luxury item isn't it, with VAT and everything?
